Beloved sisters in Christ, I greet you all in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

So many of us aspire to be part of building the Kingdom of God. Sometime we presume that preaching the Gospel and doing signs and wonders is all about  Kingdom building. It is one thing to do His ministry with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is another to extend a helping hand by liberally giving  our resources : financial and otherwise for the ministries.

3 And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.  ( Luke 8:3 )

Many wealthy women and women of power and authority and many other women supported the ministry of Jesus.

8 And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread.

9 And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.

10 Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.  ( II Kings 4 : 8-10 )

The Shunamite lady not only offered dwelling but also food for Elisha whenever he visited her place on the Lord’s mission.

22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered  an offering of gold unto the Lord.

25 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.

26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair. ( Exodus 35: 22, 25,26 )

In the days of Moses, many women offered their gold and ornaments and their services to build the tabernacle when the call came.

27 And now this blessing which thine handmaid hath brought unto my lord, let it even be given unto the young men that follow my lord.

28 I pray thee, forgive the trespass of thine handmaid: for the Lord will certainly make my lord a sure house; because my lord fighteth the battles of the Lord, and evil hath not been found in thee all thy days. ( I Samuel 25:27-28 )

Abigail, having understood that David has been anointed and used mightily by God,  willingly brought food and other things, which were denied  by her arrogant husband.

Yes my beloved sisters you can also support the Lord’s ministry in some way or the other. It is worthwhile to mention here that Jesus was moved by the offering of the poor widow, as she gave all she had ! The Lord sees the intent rather than the quantum or volumes. Are you in a state of distress or worry as to how, with  all my limitation, I can support the Lord’s ministry ? May the Lord give you the strength and wisdom to expend your support to His ministry. May God give you a hundred fold blessing to your household to liberally give.
